Rest Days are Cool

  Weird little trick.  Workout workout workout rest.  Repeat as needed until desired results have been achieved.  
  It is amazing how our bodies talk to us.  We know when to eat, sleep, stop, drop, and roll.  But rest?  So many gym rats and the old me never knew how important rest was to the entire exercise and fitness thing.  That is until I hurt myself.  Now I find myself in a new challenge brewing in my noggin!  I want to run a winter ultra.  30.8 miles.  I am sure I could do it, but am 2 months behind with my training.  i want this to be a holiday event.  To raise money for a charity.  I think I can, just need to convince my wife that it is possible with my recent injuries.
  So, off to researching the training plans.  And of course I need to be cleared by my physical therapist.
