Today is my isa-versary. What has happened in three years? Well for starters I have released 50 pounds of fat. I have purchased an entire new wardrobe. I have run a 5k, 10k, 2 half marathons, and a full marathon. These are the official numbers. Logged hundreds of miles and many trips of 10 miles or more. I have changed the shape of my body. I have changed my whole out look on life. More important than all the above is that I am happy. I am in a really good place in life and my relationship with the three most important people in my life are the best they have ever been. And let me tell you about the community. From the personal relationships, new friendships, and Facebook groups, I am finally part of something special where I am accepted and treated as a valuable member of the team. I am trying my best at building a team and a legacy of hard work and determination. Above all else is being healthy. I have my good days and bad days. I am human after all. I promise you that my doctor visits are down to 1 physical a year and only 3 sick visits for sinus infections. Those have been my nemesis since a very young child. This also marks the start of everyone and their uncles cousin telling me how this lifestyle is not sustainable. Some call me crazy and some say the products are no good and full of chemicals. To that I just smile and wish them luck while offering support in whatever they want to do. I will continue my journey and want to take everyone along for the ride. My 7th challenge ends in 10 days. I will be working as hard as I can to make everyone proud.
