So the man cold has come and gone. Thank goodness for small favors. It was definitely touch and go for a few days. Might have gone through 10-12 tissues over this very tumultuous time. So now that is all in the past. Even my achy back is feeling much better. Who knew that days of hacking a lung would put a strain on my back.
So why am I being a big baby? Because I never get sick like this. The doctor said it has been 3 years. Let's see, what else happened 3 years ago? Oh, that's right, I cleaned up my act and got healthy finally.
Kicking old habits to the curb is hard work. Food, in particular sweets, pastries, cake, ice cream, and cookies are my weakness. So I am going back to what go me where I was before my back went out and the man plague set in. It is not like I added a ton of weight. Hardly any a matter of fact. I am just feeling bloated and sluggish. There is a simple routine to go by and it worked for me. And yes EVERYONE is different and has their own remedy. But what works for me is this:
Hydrate, move, and keep accountable.
I have also gone back to intermittent fasting and drinking cleanse for life in the morning to start my day. Intermittent fasting is basically eating nothing from dinner until around noon time the next day. It works out to be around 16-18 hours of fasting. I am NOT hungry ever. And feel more alert during the day.
My work and life schedule does not always work for the deep 48 hour cleanses. So every day I have a shot cleanse for life and my body feels reset and energized.
Everyday around 12pm I have a shake. It tastes amazing and fixes my cravings instantly. I will have a light snack at 2 and another shake at 330 to recharge the batteries. Dinner is right around 530 6pm or so when I get home.
This month I have ordered a treat for me. In our little world we call it the Bedtime Belly Buster, or BBB for short. I take a drink of 18g's of pure undenatured whey protein just before bed time. What does all that mean? Who knows! The magic in the protein works overtime while I am sleeping. This is the coolest thing ever. I wake up less bloated and feeling amazing. Not that I have been feeling bad, but there is always room for improvement.
The amazing part of this system is its flexibility. The system itself works amazing when followed. The flexibility lies in that your schedule is what you make it. So for me daily cleansing works, the results just take a little longer.
My shake snack shake snack meal routine in not mine. It is part of the system. The BBB was invented by another customer and has taken its place as an invaluable tool in our arsenal.
As 2017 comes to an end and 2018 begins to take form, wouldn't you love to have the will power to make decisions about your food and nutrition and not care what your friends and neighbors say. What could possibly be the worst thing that could happen? You will need new clothes? You will feel better? You will have more energy? This does not sound too bad to me. I encourage you to look at what you want in 2018. And also consider what you are willing to give up to get it. I am telling you right now. Nothing in life is free. There is no magic pill. And you will have to make sacrifices to get to your goals.
