My take on running is that it is a release of pent up frustrations and stresses.
It is a challenge because years ago the Army said I was not fit for duty because of an injury. So I used it as a crutch for years. Now in my mid 40's it is now not an excuse to be on the bench, it is my reason to run for others.
May 1st is my first half marathon. I am going to blog about it because I can can I want to read my progress every day..
So far this year I have run or walked 136 miles! This is huge for me. Most of it was in January oddly enough.
