Today is day 4 of feeling kind of pain free. A little more tender, if you will, than yesterday. I am now a firm believer in the practice of stretching and core work. It all revolves around your core. Make the front part strong, the back parts will follow.
I am also thinking that my pain can be almost directly linked to stress. If you spent a second where I spend 8 hours a day you would know. I have also decided that working my tail off for someone else’s dream is ridiculous. So I am doubling up my efforts to live my dreams. I will not let my work be affected, but I need to make sure I am working for the right reasons.
Right now my dream is to be cleared for running, training, and exercising without limits. I am not looking to race anyone, but pushing myself to the very limits of my physical being is very rewarding.
I have been cleared for light jogging. I do not do “light” well, so I will keep with the treadmill and elliptical for another week or so. Then it will be back to it. I already know that the first 2 or 3 mile run is going to be kinda painful. Perhaps a week or so down the road will do the trick. Keep checking back. And please, someone, anyone, comment that you read this. I am beginning to think no one ever sees this.
